FBI ups reward for ‘Sneaky Cyclist Bandit' serial bank robber

DENVER – The FBI increased the reward for information leading to the arrest of a serial bank robber dubbed the “Sneaky Cyclist Bandit.”

The FBI is now offering $10,000 for information that could get the man, whose been targeting banks in north metro area, off the streets.

Investigators believe the same individual has robbed five banks and one ATM this summer and Fall in Westminster, Louisville, and Lafayette.

During the robberies, the suspect demanded money from bank and ATM employees, received money, and fled the banks on a bicycle. There was no weapon seen and no one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, late 30s to 50 years of age, approximately 6’00” tall, thin to medium build, balding and/or salt and pepper hair. The suspect may have tattoos on his arm.
