SAN ANGELO, Texas –  Police in a small Texas town say a couple wanted for elder abuse may be in Colorado – and they’re asking for the public’s help to find them.

Ramon Ricardo Garcia, 58, and Debra Lee Garcia, 60, are wanted in connection with the death of Edna Adian, who died due to neglect while under the care of the Garcias, according to the San Angelo Police Department.

Both were indicted for injury to the elderly and were set to go to trial in March of 2017; however, the couple fled the town, police said.

“Through extensive investigation, Police believe the couple was living in central Texas as recently as June of 2017 but have since fled Texas to Colorado,” reads a press release from San Angelo PD.

Officials said the couple may be living in a small RV, and may be camping outside state parks “to avoid producing identification or payment.”

Recently, the couple was reported to be seen in northeast Colorado and Colorado Springs, police said, adding Ricardo Garcia may seek medical treatment for ongoing health issues and he may have lost a substantial amount of weight in recent months.

Ricardo Garcia is described as a Hispanic male, measuring 5-foot-8 and weighing 245 pounds. He has brown hair, hazel eyes, and a tattoo on his upper left arm.

Lee Garcia is a Hispanic female, measuring 5-foot-5 and weighing 112 pounds. She has brown hair and eyes.

San Angelo police said the RV may be an 1989 or early model 1990 Econoline Cutaway, either cream or light-colored with a gray and red stripe.
