ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. – A driver involved in a hit-and-run Friday in Arapahoe County is still on the run.

Two boys, ages 11 and 12, were struck by the suspect vehicle at around 4 p.m. Friday on East Fair Place just west of Fundy Way, according to Colorado State Patrol spokesman Gary Cutler.

One of the boys was taken to the hospital with serious bodily injuries but was released Sunday. The other only suffered minor injuries and did not have to be transported, Cutler said in a news release.

The vehicle was last seen going west on East Fair Place near South Fundy Way. Troopers believe the suspect vehicle to be a dark blue sedan or small SUV with a green bumper, driven by an African-American man between 25 and 30 years old.

Troopers ask that you do not try to confront the driver.

If you have any information about the hit-and-run, you are asked to call the Colorado State Patrol immediately at (303) 239-4051, case no. 1C191114.
