DENVER -- Denver Police are investigating after shots were fired on east Colfax Avenue early Thursday morning.
The shooting took place in the area of east Colfax Avenue and Tamarac Street at around 2:30 a.m. Officers were conducting a traffic stop in the area when they heard the gunfire.
No officer was injured in the shooting.
