ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. – An Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputy has been arrested for domestic violence.
Deputy Vincent Potter, who works in the county’s jail division, was arrested Tuesday at his home in unincorporated Adams County without incident on suspicion of harassment and domestic violence, according to sheriff’s office spokesman Jim Morgen.
Deputy Potter, who had his first court appearance on Wednesday, bonded out of jail sometime following the hearing, court records show. His next court date is set for Friday.
The deputy is on paid administrative leave pending an internal investigation, Morgen said.
