DENVER – A 16-year-old boy was identified Saturday as one of the two people killed following a Wednesday afternoon shooting in Denver.

Anthony Martinez, 16, and Raymond Flores, 25, were taken to a hospital following the shooting in the area of 6th Avenue and North Perry Street.

Both were killed from a gunshot wound and their manner of death was ruled a homicide, a spokesperson for the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner said in a statement.

A third male was last listed in critical condition. His condition remains unknown at this time.

Angel Matthew Gallegos, 18, was being held for investigation of two counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree assault following the triple shooting, according to the Denver Police Department.

It’s unclear if Gallegos had been assigned an attorney or public defender over the weekend.
