DENVER — Colorado Governor Jared Polis launched a campaign aimed at spreading awareness on the fight against coronavirus.
Polis launched the state's #DoingMyPartCO social media campaign during a press briefing Monday, asking residents to share how they are helping slow the spread of coronavirus.
"We need to spread the word about what we're doing, best practices, the need to self distance ourselves," Polis said. "So, I'm launching #DoingMyPartCO."
The governor encouraged residents to share photos or videos of themselves doing their part in stopping the spread of the virus.
"Tag five friends to do the same. That could be simply a 10-second video of washing your hands, working from home, walking or biking, watching a movie at home, faceTiming with grandma instead of visiting, getting groceries for a neighbor, and leaving them on the doorstep," Polis said.
