SHERIDAN, Colo. – A Colorado man says his new dream home was a disaster.  Paint damage, trim damage, and filth were just several things he contended with until the Contact7 team made some phone calls.

Now, the disabled homeowner finally has what he paid for.

“You guys got the ball rolling,” Dennis Spurrier said.

He purchased a new, manufactured home more than six months ago.  He later found the home in disrepair several months after it was supposed to first arrive.

“Everything was a nightmare,” Spurrier said.

He said the independent dealer with Pinetop Homes, which was selling Skyline Homes products, was the problem from the beginning.

Spurrier put down more than $13,000 upfront to quickly deal with repeated headaches.

“And then returning calls?  No,” he said.  “Voicemail box?  Constantly full.  Very hard to contact.  I don’t know, [he] didn’t want to talk to me.”

He finally called Contact7 when the dealer’s delays overlapped with the end of his lease at his previous residence, which forced him into hotels and with friends.

Upon receipt of Contact7’s email, a representative with Skyline Homes said, in part, that they had “…observed a number of installer setup problems which need to be addressed and corrected.”

The problems were then fixed almost immediately, according to Spurrier.

“I mean, you know, you can it a mobile home or whatever, but it [now] looks like a home,” Spurrier said.
