DENVER — School anxiety is an issue that many students face today. And experts have also noticed a byproduct of that: School refusal.
Chris Kanzler, head of school at Fusion Academy Denver, joined Denver7 this week to discuss the challenges of and reasons behind school refusal. Fusion Academy specializes in working with students who have dealt with school anxiety. Watch our full conversation with Chris in the video above.
As part of the school's efforts, Fusion Academy and Equinox Counseling Services partnered for a panel discussion on understanding and intervening with school refusal. The next discussion is scheduled for March 5 at Fusion Academy at 5340 South Quebec Street in Greenwood Village.
