COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A woman was rescued and her boyfriend arrested in a Walmart parking lot after a reported kidnapping, police said.
Colorado Springs Police said they received a report Wednesday that a woman was being held against her will by her boyfriend.
Officers found the woman and the suspect, Zakkary Haze, in the parking lot of the Walmart on 8th Avenue in Colorado Springs Thursday afternoon.
"When officers attempted to contact Haze, he fled in his vehicle through the parking lot, narrowly missing pedestrians that were in the lot on foot," Colorado Springs Police said.
Police said Haze crashed in the parking lot and was arrested on an outstanding warrant for attempted murder.
