COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A teenager's motel party ended in an armed robbery in Colorado Springs.

Police said a group of underage people were having a party Saturday night at the Econo Lodge on Kelly Johnson Boulevard.

At 4 a.m. Sunday, hotel management told the teens that the party was loud and asked them to leave.

As they were leaving, one man pulled a handgun out and demanded everyone give him their marijuana, according to Colorado Springs Police.

The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

The only description police released is that the suspect is a black man who was about six foot tall in his late teens or early 20s.
