COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Dog lovers, rejoice! A restaurant chain from the west coast wants to make its mark in Colorado Springs.
Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, which offers an expansive menu, ski lodge-like décor and a dog-friendly environment, is planning to open a new location at the site of the former My Big Fat Greek Restaurant at 7605 N. Academy Boulvd., according to a proposal submitted to city planners.
Our partners at The Denver Post’s The Know report the new restaurant would tear down the 23-year-old, roughly 7,300-square-foot building that was home to My Big Fat Greek Restaurant, which closed in 2013.
The new eatery would be 8,409-square-feet with a 1,668-square-foot patio.
