A missing 22-year-old woman was found safe on Thursday afternoon, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said.
The Ute Pass woman, Laynee Madison Blair, "has been found safe, unharmed and has been reunited with her family," the sheriff's office said on its Facebook page.
Deputies credited tips from the community with helping them locate Blair, who hadn't been seen since Sept. 16 when she drove away from her Ute Pass home in a blue 2004 Honda Civic.
7NEWS was not immediately able to confirm with authorities the reason for her disappearance, which lasted for about 8 days.
