COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Firefighters rescued, then resuscitated, a dog and two cats during an apartment fire in Colorado Springs.
The fire burned a third story apartment at the Antero Apartments on Sandalwood Drive around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
No one was home at the time of the fire, so firefighters had to go inside and rescue the animals.
After giving all three animals oxygen, firefighters said the dog, "Blue," was up and waging his tail.

Friday, Blue's owner, Peter Pandora, said Blue and one of the cats are still in ICU and have a rocky road to recovery. They've started a GoFundMe to help pay for the animal's expenses and other recovery costs after the fire.
Pandora said Benson, the cat still in ICU, may not make it. Milo, the other cat, is improving.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
