With school out, it can be tough to find affordable things to do as a family.

The Kids Bowl Free program is a fun way to get out of the house and have a good time as a family.

Kids get two free games of bowling each day during the summer, when you sign up the program. And for an extra fee, parents can sign up for two games each day. Shoe rental does cost extra, but some bowling alleys offer deals on that, too.

Twenty bowling alleys across Colorado are offering the program in Arvada, Broomfield, Colorado Springs, Estes Park, Evergreen, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Greeley, Greenwood Village, Lafayette, Lakewood, Longmont, Loveland, Montrose, Thornton and Windsor.

The age range for the free deal is different at each alley. At most bowling alleys, the program is for kids ages two to 15.
