The flu season has arrived early in Colorado, but it's not too late to get the flu shot.
Free flu shots:
North Suburban Medical Center is offering free flu shots at its Northwest ER in Westminster and Northeast ER in Thornton, while supplies last. We're told they have already run out of adult shots and now only have shots available for kids under 3. Learn more here and call before you go to make sure they still have vaccine available.
Veterans using VA health care can get a free flu shot at local VA clinics. Call before you go to make sure they still have vaccine available.
Adults with health insurance. Ask your health insurance company if it is covering flu shots. Often you'll be able to go to a local clinic (such as a King Soopers or Walgreens) or your doctor's office to get a free flu shot.
