Lifetime movies have always had a reputation of being a bit cheesy, but for the first time ever, Lifetime is about to get … fowl.

In one of Hollywood’s strangest collabs, KFC is teaming up with Lifetime to bring us a movie that is sizzling with drama, romance and, of course, KFC’s signature spices.

“A Recipe for Seduction,” which debuts this Sunday, Dec. 13, at 12 p.m. ET, stars ’90s heartthrob Mario Lopez as KFC’s Colonel Sanders. Lopez is a fixture in Lifetime movies, particularly in the network’s holiday fare. Lopez starred in “A Very Merry Toy Store” and “Holiday in Handcuffs,” but now he lends his talents to the role of Harland Sanders.

Lopez’s take on the beloved colonel is probably a bit sexier than we may have envisioned, but somehow … it kinda works?

Don’t believe us? Watch the preview for “A Recipe for Seduction” below:

The tongue-in-cheek holiday short isn’t a full-length feature film, it’s just 15 minutes of silly, escapist fun. Exactly what we need to wrap up this rollercoaster of a year.

To celebrate the big event, viewers can take advantage of KFC’s special Uber Eats deal, featuring six free chicken tenders with a $20 purchase or more.

“We’re no stranger to heating things up for the holidays, just like our famous fried chicken-scented Firelog,” said KFC U.S. CMO Andrea Zahumensky in a press release.

“But let’s face it, we could all use a little distraction this holiday season, so why not fill some of your time at home with a suspenseful drama and the comfort of our world-famous fried chicken?”

And, as mentioned above, you can make the moment even more special by lighting up a special KFC Firelog (or another kind of scented fire log).

Toss it on the fire and enjoy the aroma of KFC while ogling Lopez in arguably his most bizarrely wonderful role yet. Who knew chicken could be so romantic?
