DENVER - Denver's hot housing market often attracts bidding wars on properties, with multiple prospective buyers putting in competing and steadily rising offers and January was no different.

Part of the problem is low inventory - there just aren't very many homes for sale, especially in the lower price ranges, so buyers end up fighting over available properties.
