DENVER -- When it comes to creating a dramatic look in your bathroom or kitchen, there are few design features as eye catching as stone.

“Kitchen counters, kitchen backsplash. I love a giant piece of stone as a backsplash as opposed to tile,” 5280 Home editor Hilary Oswald told Theresa Marchetta on a recent trip to The Stone Collection off I-70 & Peoria in Denver.

The showroom has more than 13,000 slab options, the most in the Rocky Mountain West.

It’s also the exclusive carrier in the region of GeoLuxe, a man-made pyrolithic stone product.

“It will not scratch, it will not etch,” Oswald said. “You can use it inside your home, you can use it outside.”

You can learn more about many of these options in the Top Denver Design issue of 5280 Home.
