DENVER – Santa’s elves are pretty busy in Denver this holiday season and they need your help.
The Denver Santa Claus Shop, a volunteer-run, nondenominational nonprofit is calling on parents who have toys they would like to donate, to come to the shop and help Santa deliver a toy for every girl and boy in the Denver metro area.
“Hundreds of volunteers collect toys and donations, then build a huge temporary toy store in December,” their website states.
The 86-year-old shop collects new and “gently loved” toys from newborns to 11-year-olds and expects to help around 13,000 children this year.
