DENVER – Denver7 wants you to help in the fight against cancer by teaming up with us and the American Cancer Society Colorado to raise money and awareness through the Denver NovemBeard campaign.
This year alone, more than 850,000 men will be diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. We are asking you to let your facial hair grow for a month as a way of bringing attention to the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate lives and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
Denver7 reporters Russell Haythorn and Jason Gruenauer have already agreed to join men across Colorado in giving up the razor for the month of November. You can join in by visiting the Denver NovemBeard website to sign-up. Then, starting November 1 put down your razor. Spend the time you normally spend shaving sharing your efforts on social media with friends and family who may contribute to the cause.
Starting in November, you can keep up with the follicle growth of both reporters on their Facebook pages, Jason Gruenauer Denver7 and Russell Haythorn Denver7. You can follow the links there or at DenverNovemBeard.org to donate.
