Being an urban farmer has never been easier! The Urban Farm’s annual FarmFest introduces urbanites to the pleasures of rural life right in the city. On October 14th come get your hands dirty at the farm; interact with horses, sheep, chickens; visit the grow house to learn about aeroponic and aquaponic gardening and best of all celebrate fall with food, fun activities, crafts, story time with Denver Public Libraries and live music from country singer Jesse Cornett.
The urban farm inspires excitement for learning through practical work experience in a farm setting while fostering respect, responsibility, curiosity, caring and grit. All proceeds from the FarmFest will help the farm keep their animal safe and healthy and to grow programming and educational opportunities.
