Don’t let the cold frighten you: 7 spooky indoor Halloween fun happening in Colorado

DENVER – While we don’t have a snowy Halloween this year, it’s still going to be pretty cold with temperatures dipping to the low 30s by 9 p.m.

If you’re a parent rethinking your trick-or-treating plans this year with the kids, don’t let the cold frighten you. Here are some spooky events the whole family can enjoy indoors.

1. Head’n Home for Halloween – Denver
Denver Union Station

If you’re done trick-or-treating but don’t want to head home yet, go over to Denver Union Station’s Great Hall to check out a whimsical Halloween-themed art installation by Museum of Outdoor Artist in Residence, Scott Soffa.

2. Renewal Church – Denver
3120 Irving St.

Renewal Church is hosting an indoor Halloween Bash and Trick-or-Treating event for the community on Halloween, so bring the kids in costume for a fun afternoon of games, activities, a bounce house, and of course, lots of candy! It’s all happening on Halloween night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. There is no cost to attend

3. Spooky Stories at WOW! Children’s Museum – Lafayette
110 N. Harrison Ave.

Head to the WOW’s Children’s Museum in Lafayette for fun and spooky Halloween stories! Wear your favorite costume to this interactive and exciting story time for all ages. The event is from kids of all ages.

4. SoccerHaus – Colorado Springs
4845 List Drive

Colorado Springs’ indoor soccer arena will host a family Halloween festival on Halloween from 2 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be trick-or-treating, tons of activities for all ages, a costume contest as well as door prizes

The event is free of admission.

5. Trunk or Treat at Discovery Church Colorado – Colorado Springs
4303 Austin Bluffs Parkway

Inflatables, free food, candy, games and much more – what could possibly be better? Discover Church Colorado is throwing their annual Trunk or Treat Halloween festivities with amazingly-decorated trunks, game, a free dinner for the whole family, a kids’ area where kids 5 and under can go trick-or-treating, and inflatables suitable for their age. The event is free of charge.

We did not see a price of admission, so it’s best to call beforehand. The event is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

6. Trunk or Treat at the Pueblo Christian Center – Pueblo
1605 S. Pueblo Blvd.

Starting at 6 p.m. and going on until 8 p.m., the Pueblo Christian Center is inviting you and your family for a night of safe fun with lots of candy, bounce houses, a photo booth, face painting and music – for free!

Parking entrance is off of Glen Royal Drive by the Pueblo Athletic Club.

7. Teen Halloween event at A Church – Salida
419 D Street

A teen event will be taking place at A Church in Salida from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided.
