DENVER – If the recent snow didn’t already get you in the holiday spirit, perhaps some holiday lights as you drive through Speer Boulevard might do the trick.
The Denver7 building, located at the corner of Speer and Lincoln, will soon ring in the holiday season thanks to the people over at Colorado Christmas Lights.
The Boulder-based company specializes in commercial, residential and event lighting for the holiday season.
Decorating the Denver7 building will involve using over 10,000 bulbs – as lights will adorn the trees, the roofline, the tree trunks, the garland, and much more.
“Ultimately, for us, it’s about being able to share that (holiday) joy. The lights just bring life to dark areas… it’s just a lot more to us than just making money,” said Somerset McCarty, owner of Colorado Christmas Lights.
The switch will be flipped on Thanksgiving week.
