1. Jodi’s Race for Awareness
What: Thousands of people are expected to converge on Denver’s City Park this weekend for a run/walk devoted to raising awareness about ovarian cancer. Jodi’s Race for Awareness, now in its 9th year, includes a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile “family” walk and benefits the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance.

2. Special Olympics – State Summer Games
What: The 2018 Special Olympics Colorado State Summer Games, presented by Spectrum, are taking place this weekend in Grand Junction. More than 800 Special Olympic athletes will compete in athletics, aquatics, powerlifting and soccer.
