1. First Friday Art Walks
What: Come and enjoy the local art scene at Denver’s five art districts: Arts District Santa Fe, Golden Triangle Museum District, the Tennyson Street Cultural District and the RiNo Arts District.
Where: Denver Arts Districts (several locations)
When: Monthly on the first Friday of every month, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

2. Denver Art Museum Free Day
What: Enjoy free admission to the Denver Art Museum. Note that special exhibitions will require a ticketed admission.
Where: Denver Art Museum, 100 W. 14th Avenue Parkway, Denver, Colo.

3. Denver Zombie Crawl 2018
What: Get in costume and have some scary fun at the 13th annual Denver Zombie Crawl! There will be vendors, makeup booths and a gathering to perform Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” This year, organizers are stepping up the costume contest with bigger prizes – but you must register ahead of time to secure a spot in the contest. $5 for single entries and $10 for teams of up to eight people.

When: Saturday, October 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

4. Denver Oddities & Curiosities Expo
What: If you like the odd, the strange, the unusual and the just plain bizarre, head over to the Denver Oddities and Curiosities Expo. Vendors will have weird taxidermy, wet specimens, antiques, bones, odd jewelry, unusual art, and other creepy, strange and bizarre items.
Where: The Denver Mart, 451 E. 58th Ave. in Denver
When: Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

5. Punkin Chunkin
What: This fall festival has it all: a pumpkin patch, fall crafts, live music and performances, pony rides, a corvette car show, plus food vendors and yes, a beer garden. Enjoy the Carve War’s chainsaw carving competition for a unique and fun fall experience (this is a whole attraction this year).
Where: Arapahoe Park Racetrack, 26000 E. Quincy Ave. in Aurora, Colo.
When: Saturday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission: $5; children 4-years-old and younger get in for free.

6. Denver Rescue Mission Harvest Farm Fall Festival
What: The 16th annual Harvest Farm Fall Festival and Corn Maze is now open for the season! This weekend, enjoy goat yoga at Harvest Farm. The cost is $28 per person and includes admission to the Harvest Farm. You must be 16 or older to participate (and don't forget to bring your own yoga mat).
Where: Harvest Farm, 4240 E. County Road 66 in Wellington, Colo.
When: Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
Admission: Free for children 3 and under, $13 for children 4 through 12 years of age, $15 for anyone between $13 through 59; $10 for anyone 60 and up.

7. Cedaredge Applefest
What: If you’ve never been to Cedaredge on Colorado’s Grand Mesa and want to discover new places, then head to the town to check out Applefest. More than 150 vendors will share the area’s wealth with locals and tourists alike. You can also check out the classic car and antique tractor show, live music and much more.
Where: 245 W. Main Street in Cedaredge, Colo.
When: Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
