1. Colorado State Fair
What: Carnival rides, live entertainment and Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rodeo are just some of the things you can enjoy starting this weekend until Labor Day at the Colorado State Fair!

When: Friday, Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. through Sept. 3 at 11 p.m.

2. Polish Food Festival
What: Immerse yourself in Polish culture this weekend at the Polish Food Festival. It won't just be food though, there will be Polish dancers and singers as well as music, a children's playground, and much, much more.

3. Full Moon Festival
What: Enjoy a farmers' market, local artists, live music, performers, demonstrations and liquor tasting and sipping at the Full Moon Festival in Lakewood.

4. Art in the Park
What: Over 100 artists will exhibit and sell their art, showcasing paintings, photography, jewelry, pottery, glass, woodwork, sculpture, fabric art and more, at the Art in the Park in Parker this weekend. There will also be live music, face painting, food, beverages, a kids arts station and much more.

5. Celestial Seasonings Factory Tour
What: Did you know you can tour Colorado’s very own Celestial Seasonings Factory for free? Factory tours run every hour Monday through Sunday. And every tour includes a whiff of the Mint Room, guaranteed to clear any stuffy nose. Afterwards, be sure to visit the sampling bar with over 100 kinds of tea to taste. Note that kids must be at least 5 years old to tour the factory floor.

6. The 2018 Denver Parade of Homes
What: Dozens of new, custom-built homes will be on display in the Denver metro area starting this week. The Parade of Homes includes 75 newly-built homes throughout the Denver metro area, all of which are up for sale. The tour is self-guided, allowing potential buyers to browse whichever homes they want whenever they want.
When: Thursdays, Friday, Saturdays and Sundays starting Aug. 9 through Aug. 26; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

7. Buy local, straight-from-the-farm fresh produce
What: You know our winter season is finally over when farmers' market start popping up in your neighborhood. Luckily for all of us in Colorado, there are dozens of places to choose fresh produce from before winter makes its comeback in just a few months.
