1. Celebrate off-roading at the OHV Rally & Festival in Lake City
What: The OHV Rally and Festival is an annual Labor Day weekend event designed to make access easier for Colorado’s off-road enthusiasts! There will be live music, movies, the Lake City Old West Shooters Shooutout, a community dinner and more.

2. Looking for a little music in your life? Head to the Four Corners Folk Festival
What: The Four Corners Folk Festival is one of Colorado's premier music festivals, featuring a mix of bluegrass, newgrass, folk and acoustic musicians. There is also on-site camping in the trees, camp pickin' circles, free kid's programming, food and craft vendors, music workshops, and late night and main stage performances by dynamic bands. Billy Strings, Amy Helm, The Mammals, Wild Rivers and more will be performing at the event.

3. Street car enthusiasts, you better head to Alamosa for Early Iron Festival
What: Head to southern Colorado for the Early Iron Festival – as over 600 rodeo and street car enthusiasts take over the streets! The event is full of parties, music, vintage nitro, pinstriping, slow cruising, and of course, awesome hot rod displays!

4. Love film? Head to southwestern Colorado for the Telluride Film Festival
What: If you couldn’t make it to Sundance earlier this year, don’t fret! Fortunately for you, the Telluride Film Festival is happening for the 46th time starting this weekend! (Un)fortunately, I can’t tell you what’s playing at this year’s TFF because it’s all a secret – you must get to the mountains to find out!

5. See hot air balloons at the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off
What: If you missed out on earlier hot air balloon shows over the summer, you have one more chance to experience the joy of seeing these huge things decorate the sky! The morning starts with over 70 balloons soaring the skies accompanied by breakfast and drinks from local vendors. Want more? There will be skydiving demonstrations, wakeboarding exhibitions, paddle boarding, live entertainment chainsaw carving and donut eating competitions.

What: The state’s largest music and food festival is coming back this Labor Day weekend! Over 30 national and regional music artists will be featured throughout the three-day event. Going only for the food? More than 50 restaurants, food trucks and other eateries will be there so you can experience the local cuisine in as many ways!

There will be a “Das Bier Burner 5K run,” live music, Polka dancers, Bavarian Schuhplattlers, and of course, lots and lots of craft bier!
