1. Giddy up, Denver: It's going to be a sports-filled weekend
What: If you're a fan of the Broncos, the Rockies, the Buffs or the Rams - this weekend is your weekend. All these teams will be participating in games in Denver and elsewhere. Note: The CU vs. Nebraska game will be aired on Denver7 at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Where: Coors Field; Broncos Stadium at Mile High; Memorial Stadium (Lincoln, Nebraska); Canvas Stadium (Fort Collins, Colo.)
When: All weekend long. Seriously. The Rockies play Friday, Saturday and Sunday (times varies, so check the schedule); The Buffaloes battle it out against the Cornhuskers at 1:30 p.m. Saturday; The Rams take on the Razorbacks on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.; and the Broncos will face the Seahawks on Sunday at 2:25 p.m.

2. Not into sports? Experience the art of CRUSH Walls in the RiNo neighborhood
What: Centered on 27th and Larimer, CRUSH (Creative Rituals Under Social Harmony) Walls in the RiNo neighborhood organizes artists, in partnership with local businesses, to splash color and concepts across murals in the area. 3. Grab a bite and booze at the 2018 Denver Tequila, Taco and Cerveza Festival
What: Hungry for some tacos, tequila or cerveza (beer) from Mexico this weekend? The Denver Tequila, Taco and Cerveza Festival returns for a third year to showcase more than 40 tequila brands and flavors to taste, multiple unique taco recipes from Denver's favorite food trucks, and cold beer to go around! The festival also features mariachi music, lucha libre matches, water pong, corn hole and much more.

4. Stanley Arts Festival
What: Enjoy the artworks of over 100 local and national artists in 13 categories, including mixed media, digital art, ceramics, metalwork, photography, and drawing and more. There will also be activities for the whole family, interactive art installations, live entertainment - including flamenco, jam-band reggae, a theater show - plus food and drink vendors.

5. Have a little sip at the 14th annual Grand Tasting of the Denver Food and Wine Festival
What: The Denver Food and Wine Festival Grand Tasting showcases the region’s culinary leaders – award-winning chefs, mixologists, and wine & beer professionals celebrate emerging culinary trends. Eat, drink, and explore tastes from more than 40 top restaurants and over 700 wines, sprits, and craft beers. This event is 21+ only.

6. Goodguys 21st Colorado Nationals
What: Over 2,000 rods, custom cars, classic vehicles, muscle cars and trucks will be showcased during the Goodguys 21st Colorado Nationals in Loveland this weekend. There will also be a classic car auction, a burnout competition, a swap meet, live music entertainment, a kids zone and so much more.

7. Festival Italiano at Belmar
What: The two-day Festival Italiano at Belmar will host over 100,000 Italian aficionados to come to celebrate Italian culture by featuring all-things Italy. Come for the Italian food, stay for the wine, artisan vendors, authentic Italian entertainment with special guest Chris Daniels and the Kings.
