As if Kelly Clarkson didn’t already have enough on her plate being an incredible singer, a coach on “The Voice” and raising the four kids she shares with husband Brandon Blackstock, she just added one more very impressive item to her resume. Clarkson is set to host her very own talk show, the “Kelly Clarkson Show,” piling one more thing into her already packed schedule.

She joked about the new gig on Instagram writing, “I didn’t have enough jobs already so I got one more”:

But, Clarkson is proving that she’s more than capable of managing it all. And she won’t sacrifice time with her family in the process.

When making her schedule for shooting her TV show and everything else she has to do in a day, she made it very clear that her family would take top priority. She and Blackstock are the parents to 5-year-old River and 3-year-old Remington, and Clarkson also helps raise Blackstock’s children from a previous marriage, 18-year-old Savannah and 12-year-old Seth.

One of the things she wasn’t going to miss out on? Taking the kids to school.

“When we were doing the schedule for the show, I was like, ‘I have to drop my kids off at school.’ And I’m always the one who puts them to bed,” she told People. “You just have to prioritize and juggle and make people know it’s an important thing,” she continued. “And don’t feel guilty about it.”

So, the taping for her talk show starts after the morning run to school — because there are some things that are just too important to miss out on.

Above all else, Clarkson says she wants to make sure her kids come first.

Clarkson will be the first to tell you she doesn’t have it all figured out, as raising a family comes with its fair share of challenges. She told People, “I’m never going to be that person that tries to play off like I’m some kind of Stepford wife,” she said. “We’re a blended family. We work very hard at that.”

But, she told Entertainment Tonight that becoming a mom has made her more “confident” and “empowered” than she’s ever felt before.

You can hear her talk about motherhood and how she says it changed her for the better in this clip from the ET YouTube channel:

Congrats to Clarkson on the new gig! We can’t wait to see what this mom’s got in store for her fans.
