We don’t care that the calendar says it’s only September, the Hallmark Channel just released its Countdown to Christmas holiday movie schedule for this winter — and we are here for it! With the way 2020 has been, we could all use some holiday magic a few months early.

And according to an official announcement on social media recently, we won’t even have to wait much longer to catch this year’s holiday movie extravaganza.

In a tweet on Sept. 23, the network promised that we can begin enjoying “holiday movies 24/7” on Friday, Oct. 23!

“This year’s movies reflect our most diverse representation of talent, narratives and families, including ‘The Christmas House,’ featuring a storyline about a gay couple looking to adopt their first child, and starring Jonathan Bennett in an ensemble cast,” Hallmark Channel’s EVP of programming Michelle Vicary said in a statement.

In addition to new titles and fresh faces, popular Hallmark Channel holiday movie stars like Lacey Chabert, Danica McKellar and Candace Cameron Bure will also make a return to the channel this year.

“Our movies are rooted in warmth and positivity, meaningful connections, family gatherings and seasonal traditions — a winning formula we hope will bring our millions of viewers much-needed levity and holiday cheer at the end of a tough year,” Vicary continued.
