DENVER – So you’ve hosted watch parties at your home for the Grammys, the Emmys, the Golden Globes and now you think it’s time to move the party elsewhere as the most prestigious award of the season comes to a TV screen near you?
Call your friends, dress your best and head out to these seven spots where you’ll no doubt find food, drinks, fun and camaraderie among fellow Academy Award spectators.
1. Denver7’s Oscars watch party at Alamo Drafthouse – Denver

Come hang out with some of your favorite local TV stars from Denver7 at the Alamo Drafthouse Oscars Watch party!
The pre-party starts at 5 p.m. at BarFly (inside Alamo Drafthouse), which will be decorated with an Oscars-themed look for the night. Then, everyone will head into the theater to watch the 91st Academy Awards starting at 6 p.m.
There will be celebratory drinks and you are encouraged to dress as if you yourself were walking the red carpet on Hollywood Blvd! Not enough? The Denver7 Oscars viewing party will also have a play-along game with a $50,000 grand prize.
Tickets are $20. Part of the proceeds will go to support the Denver Actors Fund.
2. 91st Academy Awards viewing party at Bar Helix – Denver

Don your most fabulous attire and walk the Bar Helix’s red carpet before heading in to watch the 91st Academy Awards in style on a big screen.
The bar will be offering a special “Hollywood glam” inspired menu of savory snacks plus small plates along with incredible deals on movie-themed cocktails – and, of course, all the champagne you could possibly want.
The event runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
3. The Oscars Watch Party at the Watering Bowl – Denver
Watering Bowl, 5411 Leetsdale Dr.
Come join the folks over at the Watering Bowl to watch which stars will take home an Academy Award this Sunday. The menu includes a $25 all you can drink offer.
The party starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.
4. Oscars Watch Party at Brass Brewing Co. – Colorado Springs
Brass Brewing Co., 318 E. Colorado Ave.
Come on down to the Brass and watch the Oscars in Colorado Springs! The brewery is offering $4 pints (starting at 5 p.m.) and free beer goes to the best dressed, so make sure you’re dressed to impress! The brewery will also be releasing a Collaboration Beer on Sunday as well.
The festivities will take place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
5.The Lyric’s Annual Oscar Watch Party – Fort Collins
The Lyric, 1209 N. College Ave.
Get ready for a night with the stars as you sip on champagne, eat some incredible food (and yes, that includes the popcorn), and much more at the Lyric’s annual Oscar watch party! Make sure to dress up – this is the Oscars we’re talking about, after all.
The Lyric will also have an Oscar ballot competition – predict the most winners and you’ll win some fun Lyric prizes.
The event is free, and tickets will be available at the door starting at 4 p.m. The event itself runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
6. Watch the Oscars at Elway’s Downtown – Denver
The Ritz-Carlton, 1881 Curtis St.
View the award show of the season at Elway’s cozy lounge in downtown Denver! The event kicks off with a complimentary glass of bubbly and a toast at 5:30 p.m.
Throughout the evening you can enjoy featured à la carte appetizers and desserts, as well as hand-crafted libations from the bar – all inspired by the star-studded event.
The event is free, but you are encouraged to register before attending. The watch party begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.
The 91st Academy Awards will air Sunday, Feb. 24 on Denver7 starting at 6 p.m.
7. Watch the 91st Academy Awards at the Sie Film Center – Denver
Sie Film Center, 2510 E. Colfax Ave.
Calling all local film fanatics! The Sie Film Center near East High School is showing the 91st Academy Awards for free this Sunday!
There will be food trucks, film-themed cocktails and four separate screens to watch the event with fellow cinephiles. Feeling like you know all things Oscars? Enter your ballot in a contest for lots of great prizes for a $10 entry free.
Doors open at 4 p.m. The event starts at 6 p.m.
