DENVER — We're likely to see some cooler weather again come Friday, but the weekend is looking pretty nice, so it might be time to get out of the house for a few hours! Here are a few safe and socially-distant options for your weekend family plans:

2. The annual Denver Christkindl Market open this Friday! The event offers an authentic German holiday experience, including opportunities to meet St. Nikolaus, Krampus and Christkind herself. Guests can savor the season as they enjoy authentic, traditional German drinks while wandering through the market. 3. Join Wings Over the Rockies for Santa in the Hangar! Talk with Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy holiday stories, see a puppet show and more. Watch Santa arrive at the museum in a helicopter at 9:45am! Pre-purchased tickets are required.

4. Create a new family tradition and join in the free nightly festivities at Denver’s latest holiday attraction, which returns after making its debut last year. The Mile High Tree puts on a dazzling music and lights show. It's the largest installation of its kind in North America. The tree was created by ILMEX Illumination, a globally renowned decorative lighting production company in Spain. Madrid-based Brut Deluxe handled the lighting design using pixel-mapping technology. 5. Shop local and support local artists with Green Wave Gallery’s first annual Holiday Art Market. The market is open Fridays from 6-9pm and Saturdays 2-5pm and are also open by appointment for private shopping.

Guided by the Three Angels of the Rainbow, Granny visits Africa, the Americas, Mexico, Asia, and the Caribbean to celebrate the joy of Holiday Times! From the African Harvest to Kwanzaa, from the Chinese New Year to Junkanoo…. a celebration of both diversity and oneness!
