On Jan. 19, actor Jodie Sweetin celebrated her 39th birthday. Bob Saget, her “Full House” co-star, took to Twitter to send her well wishes and included an adorable photo of the pair from their days on the hit sitcom together as well as a more recent photo, showing how their bond has spanned the years.

“Happy birthday @JodieSweetin!” Saget wrote in the tweet. “You haven’t changed at all! Why do people say that? You’ve turned from an adorable sweet little girl to an adorable empowered young woman. Proud to be your friend all these years and always. Oh, it’s Bob.”

Aww! The sweet garnered more than 2,000 likes, and many fans replied to wish Sweetin a happy birthday as well. On Instagram, Sweetin herself replied.

Love you so so much!!! ❤️❤️” she wrote in response to Saget’s post.

Saget played Danny Tanner, the patriarch on the family sitcom that ran for eight seasons from 1987 to 1995. Sweetin starred as Stephanie Tanner, one of his three daughters. The cast later reunited for a sequel series, “Fuller House,” which had five seasons on Netflix from 2016 to 2020. Throughout the years, the TV co-stars remained friends and have frequently talked about their offscreen relationships.

In 2019, Saget noted that he has a real-life daughter close to Sweetin’s age. When asked if he shared a paternal bond with Sweetin from when they were filming “Full House,” he answered that he did.

“When Jodie Sweetin was 9 years old, my daughter Aubrey was 7, and so they would play together, and Jodi slept over at the house,” he told Closer Weekly, joking, “I felt like friends to everyone. They’re women and I’m not an ageist.”

Sweetin has also spoken out about the close relationships she has built with her co-stars.

“The things that I remember the most about growing up on television were not the things that happened in front of the camera,” she said during a lecture at Penn State in 2020. “But is really the family and the stuff that we built behind the scenes.”

Happy birthday to Sweetin!
