Denver7 was proud to partner with Arc Thrift Stores on the Feed Colorado food drive to help put food on the tables of local families and seniors.
This year's drive raised nearly $44,000 in cash donations, plus a $12,000 match from Denver7 and the Scripps Howard Foundation for a total of $55,822. In addition, 62 tons of donated food were collected by Arc Thrift Stores.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, Feed Colorado is able to provide 189,000 meals to Coloradans in need.
One hundred percent of the funds raised, plus the match, will help Volunteers of America provide food to those who need it most through programs like Meals on Wheels and the City Harvest Food Bank.
