DENVER — An estimated one in 11 Colorado residents has some kind of disability, but less than half of disabled adult Coloradans have jobs.
October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and to mark the occasion, Denver7 and the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment have organized a call center to help connect disabled Coloradans to job resources.
Volunteers will be available to take calls from 4-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17. The phone number to call is 303-777-7492.
